The reason Origin exists

At the age of 25, I started losing my hair. Not dramatically, not all at once, but enough to notice. Enough to bother me.

I didn't want to go the finasteride route because the potential side effects weren't a tradeoff I was willing to make, so I started researching on my own. After months of digging through studies, forums, and ingredient lists, I landed on a combination that worked. Minoxidil, DHT-blocking supplements, consistency. About six months later, I had my hair back.

That process changed how I thought about men's grooming. I'd seen firsthand how much a man's confidence is tied to how he looks, and how little useful, honestly-designed help exists for guys who want to do something about it without going the pharmaceutical route. I started thinking about building something.

The scalp hair loss category was already crowded, so I kept looking. And the answer was right on my own face. I'd always been self-conscious about my eyebrows, always wanted them thicker and more defined, and when I went looking for a product that could actually help, I found the same problem everywhere: everything was built for women.

So I built my own.

I spent three months developing and testing the formula out of my apartment. The focus was peptides, specifically Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1 and Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3, because I wanted something that could support real eyebrow growth without prostaglandin analogs, which carry documented risks around the eye area, and without minoxidil, which was never designed to be used that close to your eyes.

The rest of the formula was built around ingredients that actually support the hair and skin: Niacinamide for scalp health, Panthenol for moisture and strength, Argan Oil for conditioning, Saw Palmetto to address DHT at the follicle level, and Hydrolyzed Keratin to reinforce hair structure. No fragrance, no residue, absorbs fast.

I tested it on myself first. After three months, my eyebrows were visibly fuller. Then I ran a broader test with 100 men.

Origin Hair Co. launched in 2025. The name Origin comes from the synonym root. The root of the hair is known as the follicle, which is where everything we make is designed to work. It's one product right now, with more planned.
